Century 21 Canada Expands Services with Launch of New Property Management Division
Vancouver, BC – June 2025 – Century 21 Canada is excited to announce the launch of its new Property Management division, built with experienced staff and operators previously with Real Property Management Canada.
Century 21 Canada is excited to announce the official launch of its new Property Management division, marking a significant milestone in the company’s continued growth and evolution. This new division is backed by the experienced operations, marketing, and support team that was previously part of Real Property Management (RPM) Canada.
The Charlwood Pacific Group of Companies made the strategic decision earlier this year to terminate their relationship with Real Property Management in the US and instead focus on strengthening the Canadian brand of Century 21, where the natural synergies between real estate and property management could be fully realized under one brand.
Recognizing that over 30% of Canadians rent, and with affordability and housing shortages being significant issues, Century 21 Canada saw a clear opportunity to support local real estate companies through a dedicated property management division. Property management is much more than just collecting rent and fixing toilets; it involves managing tenant needs and expectations while maximizing returns for investors. This new division will give Century 21 offices the tools and support they need to excel in this field.
Carla Browne, Senior Vice President of Integration at Charlwood Pacific Group, explains, “With this change, we’ll be able to bring so much more value to Century 21 brokers. Our brokerages now have a prime opportunity to expand their offerings to clients, guiding them through one more stage of the housing journey, not just as buyers and sellers, but as investors. CENTURY 21 Canada signs 26 franchises to renewals in 2023
January 26, 2024, Vancouver- CENTURY 21 Canada had many brokerages choose to remain in the fold, with 26 franchises renewing their contracts in 2023. Out of all franchises eligible for renewal last year, a notable 97% opted to for renewal, continuing a long trend of brand loyalty that stretches back decades.
“We pride ourselves on developing long-standing bonds within our network, and it’s great to see so many of our franchisees respond to that,” says Todd Shyiak, Executive Vice President of CENTURY 21 Canada. “We deeply appreciate their dedication to our brand and in turn we are going to continue providing the best tech and tools in the industry. Owner of CENTURY 21 Gillany Realty, Rizwan Sayed, has seen the advances in real estate technology and created an innovative space for agents under the CENTURY 21 Canada brand. “I had heard great reviews of the brand, and I liked that they innovate,” says Sayed. “They are constantly looking for ways to improve and evolve, they provide a full suite of technology tools to help us push forward and the physical human support I get from the head office has no equal in the industry.”
Vikaas K. Kwatra opened the first office of 2023 in Edmonton, CENTURY 21 Smart Realty. “My main motivation is to help new agents because if they don’t have the right teacher, they leave within six months of joining the industry,” he explains. “I was with the brand for a long time and when I wanted to open my own brokerage, my experiences with their tools, culture and support system made them better than anyone.”
CENTURY 21 Canada now boasts approximately 400 offices across Canada and, in addition to its new franchises, renewed contracts with 26 brokerages in 2023.
CENTURY 21 Canada agent receives House of Commons honour for decades of volunteer work
Kelowna, BC (November, 2022) – A CENTURY 21 Canada agent was recently honoured by the House of Commons as recognition for his nearly twenty years of volunteer work, primarily helping men living with addiction. Since 2006, Helmut Hubert from CENTURY 21 Assurance in Kelowna, BC, has balanced being one-third of a thriving real estate team with his work as Chairman of the Board and Director of the non-profit organization, Freedom’s Door.
“I started at Freedom’s Door because members of my rotary club asked me to be on the board, and I had no idea who they were or what they did. Now eighteen years later we’ve helped between 5000 to 6000 men recovering from addiction and we’ve grown to nine-properties in the Kelowna area,” Helmut explains. “Four buildings are recovery homes, and five are ‘next-steps’ campuses where our residents can focus on getting their education and going back to school. We’re able to give them a sense of community and support, which is so helpful for them when they’re trying to rebuild their lives.”
As a real estate agent since 2003, Helmut is in a unique position to know the best ways to leverage properties for the non-profit’s use. “The most important factor for a recovering addict is safe, affordable housing, and it actually turns out to be cheaper to purchase smaller properties like three-plexes and four-plexes, rather than big buildings. It keeps our residents from being isolated in their own units and it’s helpful considering how much prices have risen in the area.”
The recent real estate boom throughout Canadian markets has kept Helmut and his fellow team members busy in the Okanagan region, and their success has earned them Team CENTURION status within the CENTURY 21 Canada system several times. “Things have slowed down from the height of the past few years, but prices are high. We’re hoping to keep expanding Freedom’s Door by building eight-town houses near our current campuses and tearing down older properties to build new ones so that we can house sixty people all in that one area.”
On being recognized for his many years of service, Helmut was completely blindsided. His wife Ellen was honoured alongside him for her volunteer work as a Freedom’s Door counsellor, and they got the surprise at a fundraiser dinner. “We had no idea it was happening, we were blown away,” says Helmut, who received the commendation from MP Tracy Gray via pre-recorded video. “We’re thoroughly humbled to be worthy of that kind of thing, it’s nice to be recognized.”
CENTURY 21 Canada Office and Team ranked highest in World
Vancouver, B.C. (March 23, 2022)—CENTURY 21 Canada continues to rank among the best in the world as shown in the CENTURY 21 Annual GLOBAL 21 Rankings for -2021. With fifteen of the top 21 Offices, including the #1 office worldwide (C21 Coastal Realty) as well as the #1 ranked team (The Goodale Miller Team), the brand was well represented in the annual rankings which recognize the top 21 CENTURY 21 companies, offices, teams and producers by sales production in their worldwide system.

Likewise, the leaders of the Goodale Miller Team from CENTURY 21 Miller Real Estate Ltd. commend the professionalism and integrity of their team members which has led them to be the #1 ranked team for the second consecutive year. “Our team members are highly experienced in their craft,” says Brad Miller and Kieran McCourt. “Each one of them is an award winner on their own but collectively we’re so much more, and our collaboration give us a competitive advantage. This is entirely a team award.”
