Century 21 Canada Expands Services with Launch of New Property Management Division
Vancouver, BC – June 2025 – Century 21 Canada is excited to announce the launch of its new Property Management division, built with experienced staff and operators previously with Real Property Management Canada.
Century 21 Canada is excited to announce the official launch of its new Property Management division, marking a significant milestone in the company’s continued growth and evolution. This new division is backed by the experienced operations, marketing, and support team that was previously part of Real Property Management (RPM) Canada.
The Charlwood Pacific Group of Companies made the strategic decision earlier this year to terminate their relationship with Real Property Management in the US and instead focus on strengthening the Canadian brand of Century 21, where the natural synergies between real estate and property management could be fully realized under one brand.
Recognizing that over 30% of Canadians rent, and with affordability and housing shortages being significant issues, Century 21 Canada saw a clear opportunity to support local real estate companies through a dedicated property management division. Property management is much more than just collecting rent and fixing toilets; it involves managing tenant needs and expectations while maximizing returns for investors. This new division will give Century 21 offices the tools and support they need to excel in this field.
Carla Browne, Senior Vice President of Integration at Charlwood Pacific Group, explains, “With this change, we’ll be able to bring so much more value to Century 21 brokers. Our brokerages now have a prime opportunity to expand their offerings to clients, guiding them through one more stage of the housing journey, not just as buyers and sellers, but as investors. Our goal is to work with them to achieve their business goals – we don’t just want to offer them the tools, we want to guide them through how the industry works and help them merge it into their brokerage, allowing them to benefit from an additional business line.”

Sales associate of the year awarded to Kelowna realtor, Anne Wolfe: Century 21 Canada
Of 12,000+ hardworking CENTURY 21 Canada realtors, Anne Wolfe of Kelowna, British Columbia’s CENTURY 21 Assurance Realty Ltd. was named 2023 Sales Associate of the Year.
She was recently given the award by CENTURY 21 Canada president and CEO, Martin Charlwood, at the annual OneC21 conference in Calgary.
Wolfe, who recently surpassed 20 years with the company, was picked from a candidate shortlist of five, based on an open nomination call from the company’s agents and brokers. Criteria included industry success, ties to the community, tech tool and program engagement, and representation of the brand’s “Gold Standard” of client excellence.
CENTURY 21 Assurance broker Anna Carbone commended Wolfe on several fronts, including her commitment to the brand, participation in community initiatives and enthusiastic support for Easter Seals, CENTURY 21 Canada’s national charitable partner. Carbone also noted Wolfe’s 10-year CENTURION® status, the highest honour given to those in CENTURY 21 Canada’s system.
“Anne is just well-rounded,” says Carbone. “I believe she exemplifies all the traits of a successful agent while also maintaining a good work-life balance.”

CENTURY 21 Canada Office, Team and Producer earn top spot in Global rankings
Vancouver, B.C. (February 28, 2023)—2022 proved to be another banner year for CENTURY 21 Canada, with the legacy brand taking three of the top four spots in the CENTURY 21 annual GLOBAL 21 Rankings, as well as several spots in other categories.
The most recent GLOBAL 21 rankings recognize the top 21 CENTURY 21 companies, offices, teams and producers in the brand’s worldwide system. CENTURY 21 Coastal Realty in Surrey, BC earned the top office spot, as well as the top producer with Harpreet Khela. The Goodale Miller Team was #1 among the six Canadian teams to rank, earning this distinction for the third consecutive year.
“It’s no surprise that CENTURY 21 Canada continues to excel on the global stage,” says President and CEO Martin Charlwood. “Despite changes and uncertainty in the industry for the better part of last year, our network was quick to adjust and provide outstanding service to their clients. Harp Khela is the top CENTURY 21 agent in the world. His rise to the top comes after years dedicated to growing client relationships and anticipating the needs of a quickly changing market in BC. “I started my career in real estate with commercial properties, and I worked closely with municipal governments, which gave me great insight into urban planning,” Harp explains. “I was able to broker large land transactions to serve the recent boom in development. I’ve been fortunate to build great relationships with my clients, some of which are the largest developers in the country. My goal is to be as strategic as possible in anticipating the needs of our community and pair that with developer’s interests and goals. This allows me to continue to grow and create even more opportunities for my clients and the communities we collectively serve.”
In addition to producers, teams and offices, CENTURY 21 Canada had eight of the top performing companies with CENTURY 21 Leading Edge Realty Ltd. coming highest at #4 in the world. The average number of Canadian names has been steadily rising on each GLOBAL 21 list, with sixteen ranked offices marking the highest number of spots held by Northerners. Notably, a majority of the ranked offices hail from the suburbs of major cities as Canada’s metropolitan areas continued to develop at a rapid rate in 2022, despite the uncertainty caused by shifting market conditions in the latter half of the year.

CENTURY 21 Canada Office and Team ranked highest in World
Vancouver, B.C. (March 23, 2022)—CENTURY 21 Canada continues to rank among the best in the world as shown in the CENTURY 21 Annual GLOBAL 21 Rankings for -2021. With fifteen of the top 21 Offices, including the #1 office worldwide (C21 Coastal Realty) as well as the #1 ranked team (The Goodale Miller Team), the brand was well represented in the annual rankings which recognize the top 21 CENTURY 21 companies, offices, teams and producers by sales production in their worldwide system.
“Once again, CENTURY 21 Canada is well represented on a global stage,” says President and CEO Martin Charlwood. “We significantly outperformed regions with bigger population counts and surpassed every goal we had, especially in a year that wasn’t the full return to normal we might have hoped for. In addition to high rankings for offices and teams, CENTURY 21 Canada also had nine of the Top 21 Companies and six of the Top 21 Producers make the lists. Jasbir Sandhu, manager of the Surrey, BC office of CENTURY 21 Coastal Realty which ranked highest in the world, attributes this success to the passion of their agents. “When you have passion, you do a good job and that’s what brought us to the global stage,” says Sandhu. “We represent a large brand, a leader in real estate, and what got us here was good service, good training and having knowledgeable agents out in the field, serving their community.”
Likewise, the leaders of the Goodale Miller Team from CENTURY 21 Miller Real Estate Ltd. commend the professionalism and integrity of their team members which has led them to be the #1 ranked team for the second consecutive year. “Our team members are highly experienced in their craft,” says Brad Miller and Kieran McCourt. “Each one of them is an award winner on their own but collectively we’re so much more, and our collaboration give us a competitive advantage. CENTURY 21 Real Estate LLC Tops List of Fastest Growing Franchises
Entrepreneur magazine list ranks brands with greatest growth in past year
March 9, 2021, Vancouver— Entrepreneur magazine has released its annual list of Fastest-Growing Franchises, and CENTURY 21 Real Estate LLC takes the number one spot in the 2021 rankings. The fastest-growing ranking is based on the net total new units worldwide from July 2019 to July 2020. (In previous years, only US and Canadian unit growth was considered—2021 marks the first year that the ranking is based on systemwide growth, in recognition of the increasingly global nature of franchising.)
“This is very exciting news for the company,” says Vice Chairman and CEO of CENTURY 21 Canada Martin Charlwood. “We know this is a great brand to be associated with, and it looks like the rest of the world is seeing the value of the brand as well.”
The success on the global stage is evident in Canada. In 2020, CENTURY 21 Canada had 13 of its existing franchises renew with the company. It also had nine new franchises open its doors, and another two so far in 2021. “We feel we offer the best value for REALTORS®—from technology, to training and culture,” says Executive Vice-President Brian Rushton.
CENTURY 21 has been operating in Canada for 45 years and its franchise owners and Realtors also rank highly in global rankings. In 2020, Mark Li from CENTURY 21 Leading Edge Realty in Toronto was the #1 Producer in the world, and The Goodale Miller Team from CENTURY 21 Miller Real Estate was the number one team. Canada also had seven of the top 21 companies in the world and ten of the top 21 offices.
Charlwood adds, “This past year once again confirmed that owning real estate is very important to Canadians as many people have really assessed their surroundings with purpose, and we are happy to have our Realtors deliver the gold standard to clients from coast to coast.”
New logo and redesign invigorates the brand
The renewed interest in the brand is no surprise to some Canadian network members. Troy Vaillancourt, broker of CENTURY 21 Shield Realty in Cornwall, Ontario, credits the new logo and brand design for modernizing the CENTURY 21 image in consumer’s minds. He had been with another brand for many years when he was approached to be an owner at CENTURY 21 in 2017.
“I originally saw CENTURY 21 as a dated company but liked the legacy it has in Canada and around the world. Once the new brand identity was launched in 2018, I noticed a real shift in the perception of the brand. Now, knowing everything that CENTURY 21 Canada offers to real estate professionals and consumers, it doesn’t surprise me that more people are seeing the value of the company.”
Vaillancourt lives and works in a smaller community and says that he’s certainly seeing how the brand now appeals to a younger demographic. CENTURY 21 has always been part of local communities in Canada, raising more than $11 million for Easter Seals since 1978. “The culture feels like a family business even though we are all independent franchises across the country.”
