CENTURY 21 In Town Realty has grown into North Vancouver with the recruitment of top Canadian REALTOR Patricia Houlihan.

“I had known of Patricia for years, she had signs all over my neighbourhood,” recalls C21 In Town owner Michael LaPrairie. It was the sale of one of her long-held listings in Michael’s neighbourhood that prompted him to finally reach out.

Their first meeting led to longer conversations, and Patricia officially joined the CENTURY 21 Canada brand earlier this year. “He was very persistent!” Patricia says of his early efforts. “Other companies had also tried to convince me to move, but when I got to know C21 Canada I immediately connected with a brand that began here in Vancouver, where my family has been for four generations.”

“I had the chance to visit C21 In Town when Michael invited me to some events at his office and I found a great atmosphere. Everyone takes their works seriously, everyone’s a professional and they’re very education oriented. I really valued what I found so his persistence paid off!”

“Patricia knows what she wants, and she’s become a big help in the office,” Michael says. “She participates, she adds value, and she’s a mentor for other agents. Last year her production would’ve put her among the top producers in the C21 system, so I know we recruited a really strong agent.”

Michael credits this recruitment to his brokerage’s emphasis on providing support. “We’re a service company and Patricia is in the service business. She was looking for strong support and we offered a strong package – we have non-competing management; we always make time to answer the phone and we make sure to promote our agents’ accolades and successes, from getting a listing, to closing a sale, to participating in charity events.”

Patricia picked a good year to join the C21 Canada brand – 2026 marks 50 years since its inception in Vancouver’s Westin Bayshore hotel. She even donned the classic gold jacket to formally announce her switch on social media. She will keep her office in Deep Cove, which will now become a satellite location of CENTURY 21 In Town.
