Montague is a vibrant community that has now become part of the larger Three Rivers area, located in Kings County on beautiful Prince Edward Island. With amalgamation with Georgetown and rural municipalities taking place recently in 2018, Montague's population still stands as the largest centre at nearly 1,900 people. Montague is essentially a regional service centre for this part of the province, and as such, it has a range of businesses. Some of these include car dealerships, fast food eateries, banks, supermarkets, and hardware stores. A lot of people come into Montague from nearby communities to pick up what they need. It is also home to Kings County Memorial Hospital.

Just because it has a population of under 2,000 people doesn’t mean that it doesn’t have a lot to offer residents in terms of activities and attractions. The proximity of the water means there are plenty of opportunities in the area for fishing, boating, swimming, and more.
