North Bay

Ontario

Established in 1891, North Bay is located in Ontario along the shores of Lake Nipissing. One of the things that separate North Bay from many of the other communities in northern Ontario is the economic diversity. Some of the major industries in the city include health, education, government, tourism, the service industry, and transportation.

The city is home to several colleges including Nipissing University, Canadore College, Modern College, and Canadian Career College. North Bay has also hosted many film productions over the years including Captains of the Clouds, The Colony, Still Mine, and Backcountry.
