David Horbay is on holiday in Malta when a little, out-of-the-way alley way catches his eye. It’s an interesting architectural feature that David decides to try to capture through the lens of his camera. He finds the best angle and waits for the light to be just right. He composes the shot through his viewfinder and focuses on the exact right spot. Finally, he engages the shutter and views the tiny preview on the screen of his digital camera. “Looks good,” he thinks to himself, but the real moment of truth will have to wait until he views the image on a large computer screen.
“There’s such a strong sense of satisfaction when I take a photo  and it comes out just the way I wanted it to,” David says. “I love when I’m able to convey what I saw with my own two eyes in the finished product.”
