Vancouver (June 20, 2019) – A nationwide survey of more than 1,000 CENTURY 21 Canada real estate agents finds more than two-thirds feel their clients are very or somewhat concerned about real estate market conditions in their communities. Buyers are significantly more optimistic than sellers, with 57.7 per cent of agents reporting their clients buying property are excited or calm and 28.8 per cent concerned about prices or taxes. In contrast, 38.6 per cent of sellers are excited or calm and 38.7 per cent concerned about prices or taxes.

Nationally, 18.1 per cent of agents said their clients are ‘very concerned’ about market conditions in their community, 50.2 per cent ‘somewhat concerned. Another 16 per cent are ‘neutral,’ 14 per cent

Peterborough, ON (March 21, 2017) – Longtime Canadian CENTURY 21 broker Carl Oake and his daughter Vanessa held their annual swimathon on February 17, 2017 to raise money for local charities including Easter Seals. This year’s event raised $46 000.

“I started swimming on my own to raise money for Easter Seals three decades ago. As I swam those laps I never could have imagined how much my efforts would evolve into the swimathon we have today,” says Carl Oake. “This wouldn’t happen each year without the support of the entire Peterborough community.
