I've been blessed to have been born and raised right here in Kelowna. It was a very small town back then, and I have many fond memories of walking through apple orchards to get to my piano lessons, or stopping by Bapka's house (my Ukrainian grandmother, who lived until she was 106) for her homemade bread. I also spent many weekends skiing up at Big White in the winter and weekends swimming at the lake in the summer with family and friends.
After graduating from Kelowna Senior Secondary school, my adventurous and curious spirit led me to explore and live in Victoria, Vancouver, California, Hawaii, Nakusp, Saudi Arabia, and parts of Europe. I love travel so worked as a flight attendant until I returned to University to obtain my Bachelor's Degree in Education. I taught in elementary schools for 10 years!
When I returned to Kelowna in 1994, I had a new appreciation for this beautiful place. My son Brenden was born in 1998, is now 21 years old and living in Vancouver! He has inherited my love for travel. We were able to take a trip to London, Scotland and Ireland together! What an amazing experience!
I've found a wonderful way to combine my passions for traveling, learning, and connecting with like-minded people by attending workshops, seminars, and events throughout North America. I wake up early and workout almost every morning either jogging, walking or going to yoga!
